We chose Swimming Pool Innovations because we wanted to work with a local small business that treated our project as a priority, and not just another job, and it was the best decision we made. The owner worked with us from the beginning, educating us on our options, helping us choose what was right for us, and the end result is everything we dreamed of and more. He was onsight every day during the project, even making special trips on evenings and weekends to check on things when we had rain delays. Even now that the project is done he is still available to answer our questions on owning/operating a pool. Nick is seriously a life saver. As a first time pool owner, I had another company that the previous owner had used come to open the pool. It was covered in algae and had been neglected for 2 years. The other company seemed annoyed with my questions and after searching for another service, I found Nick! He was able to come within a day or two of calling and was early for his appointment. He wrote me up a detailed overview of the status of our pool and was quickly able to identify some corrections. We ended up needing a pipe moved, a system replaced and sand changed. Nick came within a day or two to complete the project. He was professional, kind and so so patient with me. I’ve reached out with several questions since our installation and he has always replied quickly and never made me feel like a burden. I was worried that I would not be able to use our pool this summer, but with Nick and his help, I finally got clarity (pun intended!). Nick saved our summer!!! I resisted my wife's demands for a pool over the last several years. I didn't really want to deal with the costs and time involved. I didn't want to handle the maintenance required. My wife talked me into sitting down with a few different pool builders to at least price things out and see if they could ease my concerns. After decades of wanting a pool, I did some initial research and decided to investigate putting in a fiberglass pool. While trying to decide who to contact, I saw a Facebook post from a friend promoting SPI. They assured me that Nick and his team at SPI would take excellent care of us. Because of my respect for this friend, I broke the cardinal rules of getting multiple bids and checking several referrals. No worries. Nick and his crew are consummate professionals and pay attention to every little detail! Nick was in constant contact about everything from the beginning of the project through the end. Not in a pushy way, but to be sure we always knew when different aspects of the project would begin and that we were comfortable with how things were progressing. Nick was quick to respond to all our questions along the way and provided referrals for companies he trusted to do quality work when it came to pouring the concrete decking, the electrical work, fencing and a robotic cleaner. Trust me, even with a small pool it only takes a handful of times manually vacuuming the pool for you to decide you want a robotic pool cleaner! We really appreciated Nick’s patience as we worked through placement of the pool, how much concrete decking we wanted and where, what color the concrete would be, etc. Installing an in-ground pool is often a once-in-a-lifetime project so you want to get it right. We are so pleased with the pool SPI installed for us. Our pool and expanded seating area is going to be a wonderful place for us to spend time with family and friends. As a side note, the first time I took a water sample to a pool supply (and installation) company to have it tested, the clerk commented, “You must have a really good pool installer because most of them don’t bother adding stabilizer to the water.” I replied, “Yes, we do.” If you’re considering having a fiberglass pool installed, we highly recommend you contact SPI Pools. ~ Bruce
